Best place in the Coachella valley! Took my vehicle in for transmission problems and Mike made sure to take care of it within a day! Even with other issues popping up he still helped with a great price and excellent service!! Vehicle runs like it’s new.
I was having some concerning sounds coming from what I believed to be my transmission. I picked AAMCO in Cathedral City because of other reviews I saw on here and was not disappointed at all. The service manager Mike is pure class. I called to see if I would be able to drop my truck off and he was able to squeeze me in very quickly. From the moment I arrived to the time I got my truck back was about 2 hours. Mike gave me a call and said Armondo the technician found and fixed the issue which was a very simple fix. A lot of places may have tried to sell me on stuff I didn’t need or lie and say my whole transmission was busted but Mike did not do that. I appreciate the honesty, the quality of service and would recommend AAMCO in Cathedral City to anyone who is in need of an honest transmission shop.
I called Aamco because my brother use to be a Honda technician and spoke highly of this business. After my Chrysler Pacifica stopped shifting into the high gears being that it was 18 years old we figured it was going to be a full tranny rebuild. After the diagnostics were run Mike called and told me that there was an electrical problem that had to be solved before we could go any further. I agreed and waited three more days. When he called me back it was the most amazing news. The electrical short took out a relay I think he said. The car was now completely fixed for just around $850.00. Not the $4-6 thousand dollars for a rebuild. And I he only reason it was so much to repair a short was they had to spend 5 hours running down the source of the short. In my opinion this business will have my loyalty AND DESERVES YOURS TOO. It would have been so easy for him to come back after the diagnostics of the electrical short and then said I needed a transmission also. But his integrity doesn’t let him work like that. Thank you Mike and to your mechanic also thank you. patty Here I am again needing work on my 2007 Pacifica. Aamco is a full service car repair shop. I can not figure out how to leave a new review. It is only allowing me to add to my old review from a few months ago. (ugh technology) My older vehicle once again needed to be towed into the shop. I was sure this time the worst thing had happened. By shortly after lunch the day I dropped it off I had a diagnosis and a rough estimate. Armondo the mechanic is one very sharp guy. Thank you so very much for getting my car back on the road for a competitive price. Certainly I could have gone with a back yard mechanic that handed me his phone number at work. But it is such a great stress reducer to know that the job has been done right the first time and the company stands behind their work. I had my car back in three days and I was elated to be able to take the rental car back early. Thank you once again Mike and Armondo at AAMCO in Cathedral City.
I had my transmission filter changed at AAMCO in Cathedral City, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Mike and Armando were incredibly friendly, honest, and straightforward throughout the entire process. They didn’t overcharge, explained everything clearly, and the communication was top notch from start to finish. It’s rare to find a shop you can truly trust; these guys have earned my business for life. Highly recommend!
I can't tell you how awesome Mike and his team are. They were very patient and went above and beyond to take care of me. I've never had a car care service be so helpful. They didn't give me the run around like some places. They were empathetic and understood my situation. They treated me like I was more than just a customer. They treat you like you’re part of family.
