We initially arrived at AAMCO on Tuesday 4/22/25, for a top off for the transmission unit on our 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee (93,000 miles) as the transmission overheating alarm came on! With Mike Maloney (AAMCO, Manager) Personally assuring us to return should we have further concerns, we returned to our vacation- having been given that Complimentary service! Today- next day, Wednesday- we’re back with the transmission alarm illuminating again AND the 5.7litre motor-fan running while engine only warm. Mike introduced us to his Chief Technician Armando Sanchez today when setting about his business of the road test plus Diagnosing the problem. Armando, also being a friendly Dog owner- was very helpful and competent and was able to determine the sensor (2) readings as being the root cause for the issue. He and Mike drew up a plan whereas we could leave the Jeep for the Sensor replacement.. up to 48 hours (it had to await parts from Redlands) or we could safely resume our vacation and long drive home. This second visit in a row was thorough, and we were kept updated. Upon further examination we were advised we were safe to drive and “as much as our business would be appreciated” (Mike AAMCO Manager) we were 2 hours later assured we could safely drive the Vehicle. There was no charge!!! This branch of AAMCO is exceptionally well managed and maintained (bathroom, waiting area all immaculately clean) The Manager and Technicians very knowledgeable and sincere with their customers. Honesty, is the policy of this branch of AAMCO and is VERY much appreciated- thank you Mike and Armando John, Diana & Edward

I called Aamco because my brother use to be a Honda technician and spoke highly of this business. After my Chrysler Pacifica stopped shifting into the high gears being that it was 18 years old we figured it was going to be a full tranny rebuild. After the diagnostics were run Mike called and told me that there was an electrical problem that had to be solved before we could go any further. I agreed and waited three more days. When he called me back it was the most amazing news. The electrical short took out a relay I think he said. The car was now completely fixed for just around $850.00. Not the $4-6 thousand dollars for a rebuild. And I he only reason it was so much to repair a short was they had to spend 5 hours running down the source of the short. In my opinion this business will have my loyalty AND DESERVES YOURS TOO. It would have been so easy for him to come back after the diagnostics of the electrical short and then said I needed a transmission also. But his integrity doesn’t let him work like that. Thank you Mike and to your mechanic also thank you. patty

I was in search of a second opinion for my vehicle. Mike was so kind an patient. I was in such shock at what happened to my vehicle, and Mike examined everything, and was honest and kind. Highly recommend this place! Thanks Mike! Donna B.
